I am trying to figure out the name of a movie I saw on TV a while back...it was somewhat of a comedy and a romance. A young couple from a rural area is getting married. The husband to be runs off to the city, gets a Lamborghini???SP??? Hooks up with some other girl, then comes back just in time for the wedding. I think it's an 80's flick? Anyone know what this might be? I don't know of any of the actors/actress in it.

it is called It Takes Two (1988). very cute & funny movie. i love te part where right after he buys his dream car, it falls apart while he is sitting at a light trying to impress some girls.
i dont think this is on DVD yet. could be wrong though.

Brian is right on. Man, I haven't seen It Takes Two in years. It wasn't a Lamborghini, per se, but some sort of fictional high-end kit car that looked suspiciously like a Countach. The fact that it isn't a Lamborghini is explained early in the film.
It stars George Newbern (probably best known for his appearances as the groom in the Father of the Bride films) and Kim Foster, who you may recognize as the blonde from One Crazy Summer.

Interesting, yet impressive.... but that's why this forum exists, for movie enthusiasts .
And I thought I could figure it out before reading the responses (NOT!).
