Anyone seen it? Is it worth getting?

I saw the video and loved it. Highly recommend for the lines alone. However...
Ordered the DVD and just got it. Sorry to say it is MGM and also it's standard format. Anyone know why it's not widescreen?

It's not widescreen because the studio spent little or no time effort or money making a DVD of this title. I have no idea, it almost looks like the VHS and the sound sucks too. I watched this for about five minutes and turned it off, put it up on Ebay. Mr Mom is the same way.
Too bad because both of these movies are enjoyable. But the DVDs will cheapen your collection unless you enjoy featureless fullscreen versions of your favorite films with no improved sound. Even the cover art on these two is amatuerish.
