I assume you are familiar with the movie. The DVD has both a full screen and a wide screen anamorphic version. The widescreen anamorphic is fine. Not leading edge but serves the movie OK. The 5.1 sound is OK as well. All in all the picture and sound are OK. You would not buy the DVD just to show off the picture or sound but, if you like the movie the picture and sound should not keep you from buying the DVD.
I had not watched the DVD since I first got it so I got it out last night to refresh my memory. I intended to review the picture and sound for a few minutes but I ended up watching the whole movie again.
