Hi guys,

This is a longshot , but has anyone bought the dvd of blink 182 that has recently been released. Apparently its on vhs too. Has anyone seen it?

Id like to know how clear the picture is on dvd, or how the vhs content is ...

thanks

Yep, the chronicals, its got 4 videos on it and some live perfomances of their latest hits. Would be nice to buy but only if the videos are nice and clear.

Someone must have bought it :P whose gonna be the first to buy it :P

They did a piss-poor job promoting this disc...I had no idea it was even out on DVD. BTW, Express.com says the disc has 5 videos though (Adam's Song, which was made after the VHS release).

What's the best price anyone has found for this? I'm marginally interested in buying it, but I don't want to pay $13.99 + s&h for something with so few videos. Too bad the label wouldn't license the rights forthe videos for Mutt (y'know, the crappier version from "The Show") or M&Ms (their first video, IIRC)...

I picked up the DVD this afternoon and just finished watching it. The 'chronicles' bit was shot on video (camcorder stuff, mostly), and it looks about as good as it can, I guess... The videos look and sound great -- they look better than they did on cable, and although I don't have my sound system up yet (I packed it up when college let out and I've been too lazy to unpack everything), it sounded pretty nice... The live footage isn't that great, and the photos gallery is a little lacking (it's annoying having to go through the menu system every time instead of just clicking on 'next' or something)... It's worth getting, but it'd probably be worth waiting for a better price to come along. (I paid $17.99 + tax at Best Buy...ended up being $2 more than if I got it at DVD Express, so I decided to go ahead and go for it...) BTW, the bit rate (at least everytime I checked) was maxed out throughout. Don't think I've seen that before...
