It's been a few years since I've seen Bound.
I remember liking the movie. But what I don't remember (I don't know why I don't remember) if there was a lesbian scene with Jennifer Tilly and the other girl. If so, it's the next movie I get (along with "The Getaway").
Well, was there?
Thanks
Jonathan

there is a lesbian scene between the two girls but it is rather tame. i would buy the movie for the great writing & style of the movie. it does show gina gershon's nice boobies for a second or two. the commentary is pretty good as well.

If you must buy Bound, I suggest you buy it for the lesbian love scene and not for the "great writing and style."

The commentary for Bound is very good and entertaining (features the Wachowski brothers, Joe Panteleone, Jennifer Tilly, and an art director and producer I think).

The writing was OK - typical mob-hijinks film. Jennifer Tilly always annoys me to no end; she delivers all of her lines in the same whiny monotone, and her utter lack of emotion led me to believe she was string Gina along the whole time. One notable camera shot involved the white paint at the end (no spoilers), but otherwise, the whole film was pretty forgettable.

I thought it was typical of a mobster flick, but was done well.
Though I admit, I did mainly want it for the lesbian scene.
(And the fact that it's done by the Wachowski brothers, same guys that did The Matrix.)

I believe the DVD version of the movie restores some footage of the lesbian love scene not seen in the theaters.
Also, the commentary has a several minute pause in it about 2/3 of the way through. This was a mistake in the mastering if I remember correctly.

I thought Bound was a great film in virtually every aspect and I highly urge anyone with any doubts to pick it up immediately. It's got the same flare the Wachowski (sp) brothers brought to The Matrix.

Well the writing was nothing to call home about, standard and acceptable, but I did think the style and direction in this film was immpeccable. Not a masterpiece but definately excellent. And Roger Ebert agrees, 4 stars (I personally think Ebert has good taste so that means something to me). Oh, and the lesbo sex scene is quite nice. Gina and Jeni gettin it on. I like.
