Reel said my copy of "Get A Life" has shipped, but the student post office here at Clemson apparently isn't putting mail out over Spring break. Since it'll be another week before I can watch it, I was wondering if anyone who's watched the disc can comment on the extras, video quality, etc. Thanks!

Amazon said my copy shipped yesterday, so i should get it in a day or two.
I dont think its much more than whats on the VHS tapes (which i bought before i knew a DVD was coming out). I dont think it was filmed that greatly so Im not expecting it too look much better than VHS.
Hopefully i'll be pleasently surprized.

I couldn't get a decent deal that overrode what i waa goign to pay BM($13.99) , so I bought it.

The disc has an amusing FBI warning, a special look at Get A Life Filming, an amusing menu with Elliot jumping around to "Stand"...and youc an watch the episodes WITH or WITHOUT the laughtrack.

One thing I learned..I watched it with my wife and 3 friends.

All but one HATED this!
I was dying of laughter at "Spewey and Me", and they just sat there.

If you haven't seen the show...be wary, but if you are open minded, can get this disk for under $4.00, or a fan, it is a must have.

BTW-CRISP transfer. Sweet.

Don't miss this disc. The lack of laugh track is brilliant, as the hysterical laughter is way out of place with the funny/not funny jokes/not jokes.

Wonder why people either 'Get It" or HATE IT!

I have now watched my DVD 5 times...Seen the Spewey Ep 7.

Hmmm...

I guess you have to have the right frame of mind.

Cabin Boy Criterion, anybody?

How about the "Elliot Bi-Cycle" (Criterion Collection) 9 Disk Set complete with a commentary on every episode.

I really want all the episodes on DVD!!!

This series is ten years old? Did I have great taste in TV when I was in middle school or what?

Rhino please release the other 31 episodes plus the pilot. Please, just 8 more disks of 4!!!!!

I have to say that this sitcom was last in the Neilson ratings on television when it was on. But, I think Chris Elliot is one of the funniest clowns out there. One of the greatest sitcoms ever. I hope they release the whole series! As well as getting Seinfeld to DVD!
