The 1960's version that was just released. Not really interested in the technical aspects just the movie itself. Thanks.

I loved this film ever since I first saw it
when I was about 15. It does a great job of
being true to the book, and is pretty fightening in showing how these kids turn
to savages. The acting is pretty, hmm...
I don't want to say bad, but you can tell
that the kids never acted before, but it
works well. The direction seems a bit off
at times, but I'm wondering if this was the
intent. The disc itself is pretty bad ass!

I still haven't had time to listen to the commentary, but what little I did hear was
really informative. Even the trailer had
it's own commentary! The home videos are a
nice touch too.
If you really liked the book, I suggest you
do yourself a favor and pick this dvd up.
The cover itself is gorgeous!
