One of my favorites; no extras, but I picked it up for cheap and didn't regret it. One of the DVD's I have watched and re-watched. Too many great lines to mention them all, so I'll leave with:

"He fixes the cable?"

I thought the movie sucked. To whoever said if you like Kingpin and What About Bob, then you'd like this movie... I loved those 2 movies and hated this stinker. Very few laughs and more annoying than anything else.

This is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen, but I will agree that it's not for everyone. I would have to say that the line that is most memorable for me is John Goodman's:

"This is what happens when you f*** a stranger in the a**"

I almost die laughing everytime I hear that.

A couple more of my favorite lines:

"That, and a pair of testicles" and

"That's very un-dude"

Just re-watched for the 1st time in 2 years.

Funny movie, sometimes side-splitting. The use of the word F*** can be a little distracting, but, whatever....

I think that the Nihilists were the funniest part, that and Jesus and Maude.

And, since we're leaving quotes:

It's uh-- uh-- it's down there somewhere, let me take another look.

and

Obviously you're not a golfer.

Not that great...

I usually LOVE Coen Brothers movies (Raising Arizona, Fargo, O Brother, Blood Simple), but the Big Lebowski is my least favorite movie of theirs by far. There are a couple of funny scenes, but overall I just could not get into the story line at all, and didn't find it that funny as a whole. But that's just me...

I was the same way the first time as with Fargo, I would suggest watching it again just to see. It grows on you.

Something I say to friends who have seen other Coen Brother's flicks is if you liked them, you'll more than likely like Lebowski and if you didn't like them, you won't get it.

The Coens broadcast in a different wavelength than most filmmakers and if you get their humor and writing, it's a mega hoot and if you don't, it can be barely watchable and/or puzzling.
