I never saw this film at the theaters, but I caught R. Ebert's comment about how this was a gem of a movie. Any comments? By the way Reel has this at preorder for 40% off (19.99). Just wanting to know if this film is worth keeping in the collection.

If you like anime, you will like this movie. If you don't like anime -- you will still probably like this movie. It is not "typical" Japanese anime. There is no nudity - although there is some violence. I list this as one of the top 2 Anime I have ever seen -- Grave of the Fireflies being the other. And list it in my top 10 favorite movies I saw last year.
