Review Wanted: Stir of Echoes

I can't say that you'd like this film just because you liked Sixth Sense. They have similar themes but they are very different movies. I liked Stir of Echoes, but I didn't care for the end, because it didn't retain the original "eerieness" of the beginning. In my opinion, this movie has much more "rewatchability" than Sixth Sense. I liked Sixth Sense, but I don't think I would buy it, because once you know the end, watching it from the beginning again would see tedious.
I don't want to give too much away, but the movie is a bit of a murder mystery with the supernatural thrown in.
My recommendation is: Rent it first - unless you find a really good deal on it. I liked it, and think its worth seeing, but I would be reluctant to tell you to buy it, sight unseen.

Thanks for your response. I've gotten the feeling from others that something in the film just didn't work: as if it sort of fell apart at the end and took an easy way out to finish up the loose ends.
I think I'll probably end up buying it. I seem to buy everything else.. it's real cheap, too. No sense renting first.
Just wanted to see what the general feeling about it was.
Thanks!
