I've seen it in the theater. How is the DVD?
Thanks in advance.

Phenomenal in every way (though the interviews could have been longer)! Every second you delay in buying this title is a mistake. There's a more detailed review at www.dvdfile.com if you don't take my word for it.

This is one of my all-time favorite films, so I'm a bit prejudiced.

The transfer (audio and video)is very good, perhaps not as great as the best, but still far superior to the VHS tape I had.

My biggest disappointment was the lack of a commentary track, although the featurette with Polanski, Towne and Evans does provide some background.

It's a significant step up from VHS. If you love the movie you should get it.
