Phenomenal in every way (though the interviews could have been longer)! Every second you delay in buying this title is a mistake. There's a more detailed review at www.dvdfile.com if you don't take my word for it.

This is one of my all-time favorite films, so I'm a bit prejudiced.
The transfer (audio and video)is very good, perhaps not as great as the best, but still far superior to the VHS tape I had.
My biggest disappointment was the lack of a commentary track, although the featurette with Polanski, Towne and Evans does provide some background.
It's a significant step up from VHS. If you love the movie you should get it.
