To all responders on best 5.1 DVD, thanks for the info. I recently set up my audio system for Digital DTS operation, and would like opinions on best DTS DVD's to demonstrate the systems capability.

I don't have Matrix, I generally use Apollo 13 blast off scene for demonstrations. SPR probably has the best soundtrack cover to cover. Prince of Egypt is excellent. Whenever this topic comes up Das Boot is always highly recommended and Armageddon has some good DD scenes as well

Try Metallica's 'Cunning Stunts'. This live concert performance DVD will blow your speakers to the dark side of the moon. This is THE disk that I use to pump up my 6 speakers to my families and friends. Great Dolby Digital sound!!!

Blow 'em away with Twister. I like the first scene, but the drive-in will rattle the walls too.

The Rock or Top Gun offer a good workout for the home theater
