Well, sort of. I'm not reviewing the movie (I think it is hilarious), just the DVD itself.
First the sound. The sound quality on the DVD is much better than that on the VHS version. You can hear a lot more roach comments than you could in the VHS release.
Unfortunately sound is the only positive feature on this disc. The video transfer is way below average (the VHS print actually has better quality in some spots). Whenever some stop motion is used (when roaches are controlling items, but the roaches are not seen), there is a weird flickering on the screen (like a strobe light) that is not in the VHS version. Also, there is lots of fuzziness to some sections of the DVD.
