What does anybody think about this movie? I am gonna order this soon.

Quiz show is a very, very, very good movie. I bought it right away. Unfortunately the DVD is less than good. The picture is not very good, the sound is adequate, and there are no extras. It deserved a better treatment.

"Quiz Show" is a brilliant film. Entertaining and thought-provoking from start to finish. The DVD certainly could have been better, but it`s not that bad. I recommend getting it. Don`t expect a perfectly mastered "special edition" to ever show up.

Before I order, would someone tell me what's wrong with the picture? I don't think I want to order it if the picture sucks like "The Last Emperor".

I bought the movie sight unseen, because I had heard what a good movie it was. I agree, the movie was great, the transfer was one of the worst in my opinion, because it was obviously taken from the old laser disc transfer, which is full of "shimmer" from beginning to end, very distracting, and very annoying!!! Unfortunately, two other Disney titles that came out about the same time, Mr.Holland's Opus, and The Rocketeer were equally annoying! I will never buy any of Disney's older titles again. If it is a newer movie, it is new transfer,(though still not anamorphic) and therefore will not suffer from the problems mentioned. End of rant!!!
