Looks great, I think.
Sound I haven't yet really heard, but it's mono, due to the fact that I'm listening to the commentary track. It's a HOOT! The two sound like a married couple.
I dug the trailer too, has a groovy Cary Grant voice over. He just oozes "suave."
Go get this!

Just watched it last night. Very enjoyable. Criterion has done a nice job with the transfer and the (mono) soundtrack. One problem: on my Panasonic A310, it skipped a chapter at the layer change (from Chapter 10 to 11, I think). Went back, and it made the layer change OK on the second try. Anyone else have a problem?

The transfer is beautiful ... the color ... the print quality ... wonderful. I've listened to half of the commentary ... very funny and insightful ... although, the director is so old he doesn't remember a lot of stuff ... he and the writer keep correcting eachother ... funny stuff.
I wish the extras were a little more exciting, though. But it doesn't qwell my appreciation for the disc. -N!
