Has anybody heard the commentary on the CE of 12 Monkeys? Do you think it's worth getting or worth sacrificing for DTS?

The SE is defintly worth it. no question.

I'll second that. A great commentary and a great behind-the scenes featurette (probably the best I've seen)...definitely go for the SE.

You are really not making any sacrafice by getting the CE in DD vs DTS. After repeated blind listening to both on high quality systems,maybe DTS might sound a smigon better,the higher price and loss of the extras is not worth the difference in the audio.
