Anybody know where I can find reviews on older releases such as Jeremiah Johnson and about 20 others ? Mainly interested in the quality of the video transfer.

Try the review index at DVDFile. They list links (by film) to reviews from many different sites. Here's the link:

The Big Picture seems to be pretty good when it comes to reviews. You should be able to link from the DVDFile site, but here is the direct link:
