Dances With Wolves Info Wanted

There are 2 versions of this DVD available, one in DTS, the other not. Somewhere I thought I read that this was one (maybe the only) DVD that included all the CE features on the DTS version. True or untrue?

The DTS version is on 2 discs, while the regular DVD (which I have) is on one. I've noticed on most (if not all) of the DTS DVDs the extra stuff you find on the regular DVD isn't there. Out Of Sight for instance, the DTS version doesn't have moving video on the menus.

As someone else has already stated, both versions of Dances With Wolves do have the same features, the only difference being the DTS version comes on 2 discs. I have DTS capability, but I chose to go with the standard version of Dances With Wolves anyway. For one thing, it's annoying to have to change discs in the middle of a film when it shouldn't be necessary. For another, I've actually read some reviews that said the picture was a little better on the standard version. People, people, people.....I think you might be doing yourself a disservice here.....
If there is a difference in video, it is probably ONLY noticable if you played them both at the same time on identical monitors with identical calibration.
I have the DTS version (never seen the DD). This is simply one of the best DVDs I own, right up there with SPR and Gladiator among others. The DTS sound is phenomenal (sp?).
And seriously, is having to get up to change discs on a movie this long really a big deal? I don't think so. One of the benefits of home theater vs. movie theaters is that you can pause the movie to take a break to pee. So pee when you change the disc.

I'm sticking with the Special Edition laserdisc that has almost an hour extra. I'll get a DTS DVD only when it has the extended cut.

You guys have it backwards: the picture quality on the DTS version is slightly better. And the sound is substantially better. I had the DD version, but bought the DTS version to compare. I sold the DD version to a friend. The features are the same on both versions, and I wouldn't worry about changing discs since the movie is pretty long anyway.
