...is sooo cool. The sound and color look almost new. I heard from someone on this site that they're stopping production of this one (probably because of the new movie they're gonna do).

Anyways, check it out. It's a keeper.

Is it a cartoon with still pictures and dialog, animated or a "real" movie ?

I know the story but I don't know if I've seen it on TV or heard it on the radio...

You're kidding right? Either that or you weren't a child in the 70's. I must have seen that film a dozen times. It's live action. Gene Wilder plays Willy Wonka; probably his best work. He's edgy and makes himself unsympathetic, an unusual choice for a lead in a kid's film, but it works (except for when he has to sing, Ugh!) Eddy Albert ("the man" in Chico and the Man) plays Charlie's uncle. I can't recall any one else famous in it.
It's a fun, trippy film. It's always fun to watch a dated kids film; and I hear watching it under the influence of mind-altering substances has become a bit of a pasttime at some colleges.
