My son wants me to buy him Pokemon DVD's... Any chance these are better than the VHS versions which are much cheaper (3 for $15 at kidflix.com)

3 for $156??????? at most the dvds are around twenty dollars and each contain the exact same episodes as the tapes....i have all 7 that are currently out right now and u can preorder the next 3 at reel for 14.99....if you havent used alot of your coupons then you should be able to get most for around 10 dollars.....why would the videos be so expensive?????hope this helps and if u have any more questions just reply...

Also kidflix has the dvds for $12 and the VHS for $9.99 but they have buy 1 get 2 free on VHS...
Also, do the DVD's have any extras?

I'm quite sure that the VHS and DVD versions are identical.
Of course, the cheapest way to get them is to tape them off TV...

no extras.it comes with the pokerap but i think that comes on the video....I WANT ALL 150 episodes on dvd......i think the small price difference and the fact that you can get most of them cheaper with coupons makes it worthwhile to get the dvd..just my opinion tho..

150??? There are nowhere near 150 episodes of Pokemon, anywhere.
As far as I know, there are 52 episodes that have been dubbed in English, with a few more coming. I don't think they've hit episode 100 in Japan yet, so it may be a while before you get 150 episodes on DVD...
