This a great movie and an even better DVD. It has a great anamorphic transfer, very nice surround effects, and entertaining deleted scenes. It's a wonderful movie in my opinion.

Go for it! You won't be sorry. I wasn't. Having never seen it in the theater, I purchased the DVD from reviews on forums like this. I consider this movie one of the best sci-fi films out there. Of course everyone has there own opinion.......

This is another excellent Columbia/Tri-Star release. Not only does it have DD 5.1 and a great anamorphic transfer, it also contains a ton of extras!!!
As for the movie, it is one of the better sci-fi movies. It has a deep plot that gets you thinking about where we might be headed in the future. I would definitely recommend adding this DVD to your collection, especially if you are a sci-fi fan.

Gattaca is highly recomended - a great movie indeed! It has atleast one deleted scene (that "what if" ending) that is really cool (why was this left out of the film ???) and great transfer!

If you're familiar with Marin County, CA, you'll have fun seeing the Marin Civic Center featured in the film. I had no idea the Civic Center played such a big role until I watched a friend's copy the other day. I used to live 1/4 mile away, so it was really fun to see (and even more exciting to know that rockets now launch from it).

This was by far the best movie of 1997 the writer and director of Gattaca also wrote The Truman Show which I also love. The DVD has an excellent transfer and the deleted scenes ecspecially one with Ernest Borgniune (Spelling?)
