I'd love to own this movie, but don't want to buy it as a flipper. I know initially it was released as one, but has it been re-released or is still a flipper?

This title is indeed still a flipper. They have yet to remaster any flipper into a RSDL disc yet.

Has it been announced whether or not "GoodFellas" will still be a flipper when released as part of the Robert De Niro box set?

I could have literally cried when I was watching this great movie and it just stopped playing right in the scene where Spider is shot. Thanks for the vine!

sherm42, Contact was originally a flipper when it was first released, while the newer release is now RSDL.

Yes it is a flipper but it is an outstanding movie. Porbably the most watched in my home. I would rather not have to flip but hey ya gotta get up and take a leak sometime.

My copy isn't a flipper. Does the flipper have all the extras? 3 commentaries etc.

Just watched this movie, and was surprised by how little it seemed to take advantage of Dolby 5.1--I couldn't hear any difference between the front and rear channels.

I'm sure it was set to 5.1. Am I missing something?
