Dolores Claiborne is a very underated movie. It features excellent performances by Kathy Bates and Jennifer Jason Leigh, the two queens of creepy women. The DVD also includes a Director's Commentary (Taylor Hackford). The transfer is solid. It is 16x9 enhanced. I did note a fair amount of shimmering and aliasing in parts of the movie. But the picture is very sharp. The soundtrack is an adequate DD 2.0 Stereo. This is also one Warner's $19.95 MSRP DVD's.

I loved the movie. I loved the book and I think the movie is just awesome, just like the other S. King's book "Needful things" and the movie. As Frank mentioned, both actresses do a great acting job for sure. I see you mentioned tha tit comes with a commentary by the director Taylor Hackford. I was wondering how the commentary was, and what kind of stuff he talks about.
