Love horror movies that delve into philosophy, but aren't Freudian themes just low hanging fruit?
I'm going to take a cigar break before things get too weird.

"Do you think I should sleep with him?"
"Oh you have to do it."
The Miramax origin story, the scariest movie of the month.

I have to say that of all the films I've watched this month, this one has stuck with me the most. Not sure why. Just found it intriguing I guess. So glad this was picked for me to discover.

Yeah, my drunk ass thought Pin was a self-aware robot, but when I rewatched it sober I really appreciated it as a creepy psychological thriller.

That's not what I got from that scene; since it happens several years after Mom and Dad got killed in the car wreck, I thought that it was Leon sitting in the window, as he was doing at the end of the film.

I had heard good things about this over the years, but I found it to be very, very average. Not bad, but nothing that I'll ever need to see again, either.

Pleasantly surprised by this one. Had never heard of it before this.
