DVD Talk review of 'Thor' (Blu-ray)
I read Adam Tyner's DVD review of Thor at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=52216 and...
I really love this movie. I saw it twice in the theaters, and after watching this STUNNING Blu-Ray presentation, I like it even more!
A fun, engaging, imaginative, exciting movie. Not only a perfect summer blockbuster, but one of the more solid Marvel entries, perhaps top 3.
Considering that X-Men: First Class is the best X-Man movie yet, and Capt America being a very entertaining romp, this has been a banner year for Marvel.
My one comment about Thor on Blu-Ray is about marketing...and dammit they did the same thing with First Class.
There are two version of the exact same BR available - different covers. X-Men did by having a "good" and "evil" version, and now Thor has one version with a red cover, and another with more of a collage of the characters.
Great. They are daring us to double dip, daring us to pay $60, just to have two different slipcovers.
That is so annoying.

Nah, man, they just want to empower you with the ability to choose which cover you want!
