DVD Talk review of 'The World in His Arms'

I read Stuart Galbraith IV's DVD review of The World in His Arms at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=49455 and...you are mistaken about the history. The USSR was as totalitarian as the Czarist regimes it replaced, and as brutal as Nazi Germany. If you break down Nazi, you come up with National Socialist. Can the sermon and stick to the film, which s pretty good.

I'm afraid you misread the review if you think I'm defending Soviet-style communism. And I agree the film is otherwise pretty good, and clearly say so in the review.

But the fact remains it's infused with awkwardly inserted anticommunist propaganda. Like it or not, the movie has an overt political agenda, and to ignore the obvious would be a disservice to readers.
