DVD Talk review of 'ER: The Complete Fourteenth Season'
I read Aaron Beierle's DVD review of ER: The Complete Fourteenth Season at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=46070 and...
Really, a 0.5 star with a 30-minute featurette, deleted scenes and a gag reel? Was everything that bad?

From my standpoint, I'd say the half-star represents not enough extras, rather than quality. You'd want a season collection to at least have commentaries on some of the episodes, etc.

I guess. I approach them on the actual content than the amount. If the 30-minute featurette is nothing but ass kissing and regular EPK sound bites and footage, then I would understand. At the very least the rating should've been explained as reading the features, it seemed to be an OK selection.
Anyway, based on my experience with these ER sets, it's as good as you'll get. Not sure if the early releases had commentaries but IIRC, the later one's don't have much going save for deleted scenes and an outtakes reel.
