DVD Talk review of 'American Originals Megaset (Ice Road Truckers, Ax Men, Tougher in Alaska)'
I read Paul Mavis's DVD review of American Originals Megaset (Ice Road Truckers, Ax Men, Tougher in Alaska) at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=36200 and...
The idea that it's "loony" to grasp the physics of constant CO2 buildup in an atmosphere capable of only absorbing finite amounts of it without warming is pure arrogance. Nature has ZERO concern for how tough people think they are, or how hard they work to manipulate finite natural resources under the guise of producing something that wasn't already there.
In the real world outside of Dittohead politics, all that matters is the thermodynamic realities of the situation. More CO2 traps more heat. The only controversy is among people who get their science from dumbed-down talk shows.
It's pathetic that the State experiencing the first worst-case effects of AGW is also full of small-minded folk who think the laws of nature don't apply to them, or that some deity will make everything all right if they just "work hard" at their specialized jobs which have no bearing on the heat-trapping effects of greenhouse gases. Science has learned things that can't always be known by laymen, but need to be paid attention to.
