I read Stuart Galbraith IV's DVD review of The Pirates of Penzance (1983) at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=44228 and...need to point out that the role played by Angela Lansbury in this film was originally played by Patricia Routledge when the show originated as a free presentation of the Public Theater at NYC's Delacorte Theater. (The show was filmed live at the Delacorte, and is available on a DVD from Kultur.)
