DVD Talk review of 'Triangle' (Blu-ray)

I read Adam Tyner's DVD review of Triangle at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=40321 and, damn, that was one hell of a recommendation! I can't remember the last time I was so drawn into a movie. I watched it Friday night and have been spinning it around my mind the whole weekend. I'm sure it gets better and more engaging on additional viewings.

Oh, by the way, regarding the "one shot" you spoke of in your review that you didn't want to post a photo of because of what it'd give away...

Spoiler:
was it the one where Jess finds all of Sally's bodies?

if you liked this movie you should check out TIMECRIMES...which this movie borrows heavily from.

I caught that on Netflix streaming several months ago. While I liked it, I prefer Triangle because it leaves a lot more open for interpretation and that's a challenge I enjoy.

That's the one!

Thank you so much for the kind words about the review, by the way. I definitely appreciate it.

I loved that shot and found it to be the most powerful visual in the movie.

Solid review.

What REALLY ticks me off is that the UK version is packed with extras...including director's commentary. Why oh why were they stripped from the U.S. release?!?!?!. Oh, how I wish my machine could play PAL discs.

That was such an awesome scene. Until that point, the set-up for this movie felt pretty familiar. But that segment blew me away. I've never seen anything like that before in this type of story. It felt like a totally fresh twist on a common theme.

Really enjoyed this movie. Can't wait to watch it again.

Yep, the import will be part of my next amazon.co.uk order, although I already own the US BD.

When you get it, can you determine if it is region-locked? If so, please let us know!

Re: DVD Talk review of 'Triangle' (Blu-ray)

I'm not in the habbit of bumping old threads but I just finished this off of nextflix streaming and I gotta say I loved it. I'm glad they tied up the ending the way they did because at least for me it explained everything. Why can't for films challenge us like this? Did a US version with all the extras come out yet?
