DVD Talk review of 'Without a Paddle' (Blu-ray)
I read Adam Tyner's DVD review of Without a Paddle at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=37490 and...
I just needed to say that I'm glad not to be the only person who still immediately identifies Abraham Benrubi (yeah, I looked up his real name) as Kubiac. He'll never shake that character. Despite 15 years on ER, every time I see him in anything, I think, "Hey look, it's Kubiac!"

Ha. Likewise.
Seth Green refers to him by that at one point too, and he mentions in the picture-in-picture commentary that he was auditioning for a role on Parker Lewis Can't Lose too. (I think he said it was for the part of Jerry?)
I watched pretty much everything that aired on Fox for its first few years (even blink-and-you-miss-it shows no one remembers like Second Chance and Women in Prison).

I remember WiP, but not so much Second Chance.
Personally, I would have name-checked "The New Adventures of Beans Baxter."

I figured more people would remember that one, to be honest.
'Beans Baxter' was probably my favorite of those early shows on Fox, and as short-lived as it was, it outlasted most of those six-and-done series. Ack. Now I feel all dead and empty inside because I can't remember what the codeword was that triggered the robot in that one episode to go on a rampage.
