Which One of these Complete Series should I buy first?

The only thing I am collecting on DVD now are Complete Series but only the shows I know that will not be released on Blu-Ray in the near future. I have some extra money and want to buy all these on Complete Series sets but if they will be released on blu-ray in the near future, I won't buy them on DVD. So which set should I buy, which one of these sets should I buy first? Which one of these shows will probably not make it to DVD in the near future.

Angel - Complete Series 1 - 5
Buffy The Chosen Collection
Brady Bunch, The - The Complete Series
Charmed - The Complete Series
Friends - The Complete Series
Full House - The Complete Series
O.C., The - The Complete Series
That '70s Show - The Complete Series

Define near future. There's a good chance every one of these will be out on Blu-Ray within the next five years.

Buy the complete Buffy set. Dont wait for a Blu-ray set that may not happen.

I have Charmed because I was able to get Season One for $9.99 at a Retailers "Black Friday" sale in 2006, and the other seasons when they came on sale for $19.99 or less!

Warner has already said there are plans for Friends on Blu-Ray.

Buy Buffy Chosen Collection. Probably the best series ever to appear on TV.

The scripts, writing, acting, themes, creativity, etc are top-notch. Even Whedon has stated it is the best thing he will ever do. I doubt we will ever see the likes of this type of show again.

I dont think all of them... a few... but blu-ray will not have the penetration that dvds do now. Alot of consumers are still confused when it comes to blu-ray and HD-tv for that matter

I voted for Full House. Looking into my crystal ball of the near future I believe that show is the series least likely to be released on Blu-Ray anytime soon.

If you want my opinion of the shows on your list? You have some good choices on there. I own all of Friends, Buffy, and Angel. The latter two in the complete series boxes. I also have most of That 70's Show but have been reluctant to complete the collection due to how disappointing the last few seasons were of the otherwise brilliant show.

I would think Buffy and Angel would be the most obvious Blu-Ray releases, followed by Friends probably. I wouldn't expect to see any of the others on Blu-Ray for quite some time, if ever.

Taking that into account, plus the fact that it's the only show on your list I like, I'd recommend starting with That 70s Show.

All the series' mentioned are classic (IMO), so my recommendation is wait for the next one of these to see a price drop and buy them then.

Most of them have seen sale prices below $100 in the past few months so I'd expect them to drop to prices like that again.

Get Buffy right away...once you have watched a couple seasons, you will want to grab Angel then too! Especially after Season 3, so you can watch the episodes back to back and follow the crossovers from Buffy S4 and Angel S1....

Buffy/Angel.

If you have those 12 seasons you're set. For like, ever.

The Wire is the correct answer.

But if you insist on spending your money on an inferior product.

Then go with Buffy, if only to get to Angel.
