DVD Talk review of 'The Day the Earth Stood Still: 2-Disc Special Edition'
I read Randy Miller III's DVD review of The Day the Earth Stood Still: 2-Disc Special Edition at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=35709 and... I consider it a great review with one observation. At the begining of his review of the Special Edition 2 Disc DVD release of the film, Mr. Miller states that the Robert Wise film was first released in theatres in the year 1954(coincidentally the year of my birth) but the correct year of the film's first release was in 1951(the same year THE THING & DESTINATION MOON two other 50's Sci-Fi film classics were released) and in the end of his review, Mr. Miller states correctly that it has been 57 years since the film's original release. So I think that despite an excellent review, Mr. Miller simply committed a typo in his otherwise excellent DVD review of this Sci-Fi classic and I hope that he can be able to correct it.

There's a link at the top of every review allowing you to e-mail the reviewer directly. It's a more discreet way to alert the reviewer when you find a typo such as this. They'll usually make a correction very quickly.
