DVD Talk review of 'Fastlane: The Complete Series'
I read Preston Jones's DVD review of Fastlane: The Complete Series at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=34041 and...I always thought the series had a much more recent inspiration than Miami Vice -- "The Fast and the Furious".

I agree, XXX was another that crossed my mind a few times while watching this series ... in the "Miami Vice" comparison, however, I was trying to stay within the confines of TV shows.
