French horror flick: The Inside
Has anyone seen or heard of this movie? I read a review of it (http://indiefilmchat.com/main/index....Interieur.html) and it sounds scary as hell.
Which reminds me, I wish they'd stop showing The Strangers trailer on tv...I'm a wimp when it comes to scary movies!
I was not ready for this one.
As the credits rolled, I sat on my couch, totally spent, with the final moments of this film playing over and over in my mind. My first instinct was to lash out and write a nasty review, as I was angry at this film for the traumatic 83 minutes it had just put me through. After a while, though, my admiration for it grew and grew. One means by which I judge the quality of a film, no matter the genre, is how much it “stays” with me after I see it. I’m sure Inside will haunt me for quite some time.

I'm sure there's another French horror film that just recently came out. Borders, or something like that. Too bad there's no quick way to find out...
Oh, and OP: It's just called Inside, not The Inside.

beesonosu, you are missing "Frontiere(s)" and "Malefique". Not sure if you were joking about "Frontiere(s)" seeing as there are ads all over this site for it

Inside was excellent. I'd recommend checking it out.

Inside is fanastic.
From a technical standpoint, it is top-notch filmmaking across the board.
The story is not for everyone, but if you're a horror fan, you owe yourself to check it out.

A lot of hyperboles being tossed around for Inside, but I thought it managed to live up to most of them. I like the filmmaker's minimalist approach - kind of reminded me of early John Carpenter. Awful R1 DVD cover though.
