Looking for "Underground" films on DVD: 40s-70s
I'm looking for "underground" or avant garde films from the 40s through the 70s that are available on DVD, region 1 or otherwise. Already familiar with Kenneth Anger,Stan Brakkage, Andy Warhol, Maya Deren, Norman McLaren and Shirley Clarke. Anything that deals with fringe, underground, or counterculture groups or individuals is of interest to me - looking more for documentary/verite than abstract/avante garde, but the latter is welcomed as well. All set on the 20s and 30s era for now, as I just ordered the Unseen Cinema box set. Thanks.

Your gonna love that Unseen Cinema set. Its got some really great stuff. I would check Diabolikdvd.com and check out their documentaries section. They have a lot of good stuff there.
