Looking for some feel good movies!

After seeing Little Miss Sunshine and Knocked Up, I think I've discovered that feel good comedies are one of my favorite types of movie. Can anyone recommend some other goodies of this kind?

Excellent call with M. Night Shyamalan's Wide Awake. It's a rarely talked about gem that will make you look at Shyamalan in a completely different light.

Edit:

I hope you weren't referring to the insomnia doc.

Definitely the Shyamalan film. I haven't seen the insomnia documentary, but I am not sure how funny insomnia can be. :-). Actually Wide Awake may be more drama than comedy, but it has its humor too. I really like this movie and am glad to see there are others who liked it as well.

I might be nuts, but a "feel good" film that I love and every one else seems to hate is "Joe Versus the Volcano." I'm a cynical person opposed to optimism, as a rule, but watching that movie - which is very funny too, by the way - is like a jolt of seratonin. If you can find it really cheap somewhere, give it a shot.

If you can stomach animation in this category, then give My Neighbor Totoro a spin. It's a very solid go-to for pleasant cinematic vibes.

I just watched Mother Ghost, and loved it. It is about a man working through the death of his mother, which doesn't sound "feel good" but it is. While not a comedy there is plenty of humor too.

Psycho & the Friday the 13th movies are feel good movies too me but If your looking for what most people would define as feel good movies I would say...

Men with Brooms starring Paul Gross (Due south), Molly Parker & the ever loveable Canadian Leslie Neilsen.

Babe

I would say Midnight Run as well but I don't know If it would be considered a "Feel good" movie or just a fun movie.
