Lost Room

FYI: Lost Room (or The Lost Room) is making its dvd release next week, April 3rd. Great little mini-series (in my opinion anyways) shown on Sci-Fi (or Space Channel in Canada) a few months back. Starred Peter Krause from Six Feet Under. Not a bad little show and only about $18.00 at Amazon for the 2 discs. Runs about 300 minutes.

In case you didn't catch it it's sorta like the Twilight Zone meets Lost. Objects in a deserted/abandoned hotel/motel in New Mexico possess strange powers. Personally, I'll take the "key"!

I should warn potential buyers that the mini-series doesn't really wrap up it's story, and actually sets things up for a series that might never come.

Sounds good...I'm expecting the screener for DVD Talk in the mail this weekend. Haven't actually seen the show yet, but I specifically requested it because it looked really interesting. I probably won't have a review up until later next week, but I'll make sure to give it a fair shake.

UPDATE: I'll probably have a review up tomorrow morning. In the meantime, here's a quick synopis of what I thought: great series and a solid technical presentation (anamorphic widescreen / DD 5.1), but only one promotional featurette (20 minutes). Still, a worthy blind buy at under $20.
