I agree it's a great little film. Saw it at TIFF a couple years back.

Jamie, unfortunately I probably know the answer already, but do you remember if any of those ten trailers are one for The Quiet?

Watched the DVD yesterday. Great flick and excellent PQ & AQ, though I wish we could've gotten the Blu-ray as well. I can watch that scene with Nina and Dot in the cafeteria over and over.

I didn't know Camilla Belle was a concert pianist.

I'm glad people are digging this movie now that they're getting a chance to see it.

Yeah, I don't see at deepdiscount. DVDEmpire & amazon have it though.

Speaking of the cafeteria scene:

Spoiler:
Did Nina know at that point that Dot knew about the father and her? I don't think so. Or did she just decide to confess it then to drive her crazy?

Spoiler:
Doubt it, though Nina definitely wanted to get that off her chest, I'm not even sure that she knew 100% that Dot could hear at that point, because the porn in the bag thing seemed like some sort of test to verify that. Nina seemed shocked/angered that Dot's only reaction to her confession was to pluck that eyelash from her face, indicating that she probably couldn't hear.

I think I'm actually more bothered with what Dot did with her father than what Nina does with hers.

Spoiler:
So, if Dot knew Nina knew about her faking it, why did they continue with the non-talking bit? In case anyone else was around?
