DVD Talk review of 'Apartment Zero'

I read Juliet Farmer's DVD review of Apartment Zero at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=26308 and...

I wish she would stop reviewing movies in her glib, nearly-information-free style. Everything she's written so far has been too short -- meaning too lean on valuable information in regard to what a movie or a DVD is like. It's like reading your friend's blog about what she thought a movie was like. Sure, that's what this whole website basically is, but frankly most of the other writers INVEST more into what they write.
I would rather read 12 pages of examples of Bill Gibron's annoying, arbitrary, and almost asinine alliteration (and at this point, I probably have) than to read a capsule review with nothing to say.

Read a Jamie Rich review, for crying out loud. You don't need to do screen captures, but Jamie Rich can write.

So can Ian Jane, Francis Rizzo and Randy Miller the thirds, Holly Ordway, Preston Jones, and...

Read the other folks who write for this site and rip them off -- they're all pretty good writers, even if I disagree with a lot of the garbage they write (ha ha ha).

On the other hand, I'm glad you took the time to mention the commentary tracks -- maybe I'll check out the Koepp/Soderbergh track.

But please stop abbreivating titles.

to be glib, or not to be glib, that is the question. it seems that even in my glibness, you were able to glean valuable info, so my job is done.

I was glad to see the review corrected, as there was indeed a previous release which I own. But I'll definitely be on this one -- I love my Hart Bochner.

it's too bad hart's not acting more, as he's easy on the eyes (and a good actor).
