You're welcome.

If you really think you can talk about a movie like this without discussing politics and culture, I just can't agree with you.

Besides, I'm entirely up-front about the movie. It's appealing to people no matter what side you're on, unless your beliefs are on rocky ground.

Actually it's an excellent review, I'm just giving you a hard time.
Organized religion scares the hell out of me.
People living in Islamic controlled countries don't really have a choice,
but we do have a choice.
....so why are we in this mess?!?!?
oh, I think I'll go back to watching "Get Smart".

That's funny.

Anyways, even as a practicing Christian, the stuff going on at Jesus Camp scares the shit out of me and makes me sad.

I bought and watched this film hoping it would be insightful. I don't believe this is the case though. The film doesn't tell anyone anything not already known. ANyone that has been in America for the last 10 years knows of the growing evangelical population and has a pretty good idea of their "craziness." The film doesn't make any statement on what may have caused this movement, why it is important, and what may happen because of it.

I agree that the movie was very evenhanded and fair, but it doesn't seem to do more than scratch the surface without providing any depth.

This is the problem with the new style of many documentaries. Its basically a point and shoot the camera affair and nothing insightful.

At least we don't have to deal with the fucking banners of the scary child any more.
