I read Jamie S. Rich's DVD review of Idiocracy at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=25679 and...was amazed about the review that spent so much time in it's reverent accolades around the writers and ignoring where the idea / concept came from. specifically, a short story that was written by Cyril M. Kornbluth, called "The Marching Morons" WAY back in 1951... this Might explain why Fox decided to low ball the release in hopes that the estate of the author won't notice the blatant stealing of it. "The Island" is a prefect example of this is as I type, it is heading to court for ripping off "Parts: The Clonus Horror". We'll never know...
