Any recommendations for DVDs with a lighthouse featured?

I have just watched Half Light with Demi Moore. I loved the lighthouse scenes, but the movie was kind of creepy. If anyone knows of any DVDs with lighthouses in them, I would like to know.

Thanks!

John Carpenter's The Fog has a lighthouse prominently featured, but it's also a creepy movie.

I do not know whether or not you are region-free but if you are this film is right up your alley (English friendly) as it features stunning lighthouse vistas. Ironically the film is titled The Light/The Lighthouse....(starring Sandrine Bonnaire from De Palma's Femme Fatale....)

Thanks for the info. I don't think I'm region free, but I watched the preview for that movie and it looks great! I actually have a print of that lighthouse on my wall! Does this movie have an English dub? I'm not much on subtitles.

Thanks!

Final Analysis has some scenes and the climax in a lighthouse (plus stormy weather at the end, as requested in your other thread).

PORTRAIT OF JENNIE - lighthouse mentioned several times, and is part of the beautifully-tinted (it's a b/w movie) storm sequence that is the climax of the movie.

It's been a while since I last saw it, but didn't "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" have a lighthouse in it? Either way, it's a great flick.

If you're region free, there's a good horror movie called "Lighthouse". Almost the entire movie takes place in and around a lighthouse. It's available in the UK on R2 PAL DVD. The crappy fullscreen US DVD (titled "Dead Of Night") is OOP.

http://www.dvdmaniacs.net/Reviews/I-L/lighthouse.html

The recent US horror movie "Darkness Falls" also has a lighthouse.

Just wanted to say "Thank you." I just recently purchased a region free player primarily to watch this DVD and it was well worth it. The lighthouses and scenery was beautiful! Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I wished there was an English dub, but subtitles was just fine.

I love lighthouses! I didn't realize so many movies with a lighthouse connection. Check out [B]The Birds III"Land's End"[B], a 1994 release with Brad Johnson. There is a character in it who plays a Lightkeeper.
