DVD Talk review of 'Blonde'

I read David Cornelius's DVD review of Blonde at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=20316 and...

I thought this review was great! It beautifully put into words all the plus and negatives of the film. I do think though that Poppy Montgomery's performance given the dialogue, role, etc. was absolutely brilliant. For me, she totally captured the essence of Marilyn not to mention how much she looked like her. The film needed for sure to be "tigtened" it did seem to be all over the place and I absolutely agree the "childhood" sequence was so long that I can't believe I sat through it. On the other hand, Poppy's performance absolutely saves this movie from being a total drag. LOVED THE REVIEW...WELL DONE.

Thanks for he kind words. And you're absolutely right - without Poppy, the whole thing just doesn't work.
