TV Afficionado, help please! Invasion or House: S2?
Hey everybody,
I'm writing in to ask for help.
I've only seen a few episodes of Invasion and kind of liked what I saw, and then, I've only seen season 1 of House. That was fun, but a bit repetitive.
Which would you say is the better buy? The better show?
Any input is appreciated.

well, normally I would recommend House s2, but since you said you thought s1 was repetitive, well s2 won't be any different for you. So, I'm going to recommend Invasion.
I like both shows a lot and plan on getting both of them on Tuesday.

Thanks guys. I'll take that into consideration.
I remember House being repetetive but also being witty and at times really interesting.
I'm in a bind...and maybe I'll actually get both.
Thanks again.

I have not seen Invasion but am a huge fan of House. Season 2 is also somewhat repetitive in that many episodes follow the problem, analysis, treatment that won't work, patient gets worse, then discover the problem for real. However season 2 goes deeper where season 1 left off- with House's relationship with his ex-wife and her new husband, tensions between the doctors, and epsidoes that are different from the typical season 1 episodes. I think it gets wittier and is at least just as funny. The writing is first-rate. Hope it helps.

It's a tough choice, but I may have to get both like I said.
Anyway, thanks again.

FYI, if you can, pick up Invasion at Target on Tuesday (tomorrow) as they have an exclusive bonus disc that will likely not last long.
and House season 2 is supposed to come with a $5 gift card at Target, while supplies last.

I'm in a bind aswell, hoping someone that watched Invasion could help me out. I like buying complete series on DVD, but I really hate it when the show doesn't end. Lots of shows that are released as 'The Complete Series..." usually ends with a typical season finale cliffhanger, or they have an extra episode shot just for the set to close up the show... What's going on with the Invasion DVD in this aspect?

I guess I'll just sneak the Invasion bonus disc and buy House with the gift card at target.
And John Slider, supposedly, Invasion ends in a really bad cliffhanger.
Not bad as in quality, just really suspenseful.
That's been driving me away as well...
