DVD Talk review of 'Asylum'
I read Stuart Galbraith IV's DVD review of Asylum at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=22389 and...
Stuart, as always enlightening and a pleasure to read your reviews. I may have missed this mentioned in your review but I thought it was interesting that the normally sharp folks at Dark Sky (or Image) have Robert Bloch credited as Robert Black. I know mistakes happen but Robert Black?
Anyhow as usual you were right on the money with "Asylum" which is probably the best film from the 70's that Amicus produced. "Beast" despite its flaws is also entertaining if nothing else for the mishmash of genres that resulted from adapting James Blish's novel. A pity they didn't do anything on the late Blish as an extra for that set.
They should contact YOU to write the notes for their releases but then I'd miss the opportunity to read your terrific reviews...
