Why We Fight [the Savant]
The Savant's identity has been revealed... he is in fact... Cindy Sheehan!
Seriously, is there anyone left in the entertainment industry who can simply review a film without the personal soap boxes? Just tell me what the writer/director has on his mind and how he portrays it rather than the hysterical wimpering that was the WHY WE FIGHT review.
The scenarios described by Savant in WWF make the X-FILES conspiracy plot threads sound quite dry.
This is laugh out loud funny! We rush to war because it makes arms dealers happy? Regular people don't swallow this poppycock. And liberals will never understand why, because liberals don't understand people who don't agree with liberals.

Why We Fight stresses that the push toward war is systemic at its base. The corporate manufacturers of arms that profit from war exchange personnel with our military establishment, and our elected officials answer not to their constituencies but to the arms manufacturers that can bring work to their districts. In a way, our entire government has become an adjunct of private, undemocratic business interests.
