DVD Talk review of 'Elevator to the Gallows - Criterion Collection'
I read Svet Atanasov's DVD review of Elevator to the Gallows - Criterion Collection at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=21218 and...
I thought that the French at the time of the film still used the guillotine for executions. "Elevator to the Guillotine" sounds perfectly acceptable to me. Why'd they change it?

Hello,
I am sorry I could not address your question with a deserving answer. You will probably have to contact Criterion and their producers to find an answer...though your last comment is incorrect!
Regards,
Pro-B
