DVD Talk review of 'The Mel Brooks Collection'

I read Francis Rizzo III's DVD review of The Mel Brooks Collection at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=20937 and...

It seems that some sets have a new transfer Anamorphic of Young Frankenstein and others have the old one. Thank you for the great extensive review of this set Francis:-) See the Home Theater Forum for discussion on the problem:

I still think I'm going to pick this set up tonight after work. I became interested in Mel Brooks' film with Spaceballs, and I've loved Blazing Saddles, History of the World, Young Frankenstein, Men In Tights, and even Dracula, Dead and Loving It. I've never seen the other movies, so for me this is a good way to see some of his older works. Plus the new transfer of History, as well as Men in Tights on DVD makes it work the money to me.

I've loved Mel since I saw Blazing Saddles in the movies. All the films are very funny. One ironic piece of trivia is that the only person in Silent Movie who has a speaking role is the famous mime Marcel Marceau. This may be the only way to get some of these in my collection. I may have to bite on this one. I would be pizzed off if I got the bad version of Blazing Saddles tho.
