Maverick (1994)

Is this a good film? Lately i've been on a Jodie Foster High and i've never seen this film... plus the added bonus of Gibson and Garner... Not that expensive either, so i'll most likely purchase it if anyone recommends it.

I couldn't agree more. It's certainly not the best movie ever made but it's a fun movie to spend two hours on.

I wouldn't say that Foster puts in a performance that's anything to write home about. She's serviceable enough, but it's more about the guys here, Garner and Gibson are at their charismatic best. Great fun all around, and "westerns in the South" as I would call this film, are rare, particularly in the last few decades.

I really like this film. I would definately recommend it, it's rewatchable.

I love this movie, it's a lot of fun. I see it on TV all the time so i'd never buy it, but go for it.

I absolutely love this movie-and if you're a lethal weapon fan there's a great cameo.

Well, I got the DVD over the weekend and watched it, it was a fun film! Loved the Indian "conversation", that was great and the cameo appearance... Although, I was a bit disappointed in the video transfer... but hey, it was only $9.99. If sometime down the road a Special Edition version comes out, i'll most likely purchase that as well...

Thanks for the advice everyone.
